About The Edison

On May 8th, 2008, The Edison opened its doors and became a fixture in Ft. Myers dining and nightlife. Located on historic McGregor Boulevard, just one mile south of the world famous Edison & Ford Winter Estates, The Edison is a tribute to one of Ft. Myer's most favored past residents.

At The Edison we experience hand-crafted cocktails and the majestic relics of a long lost era of glamour and intrigue mark The Edison as one of Florida’s most unique dining experiences.

The Edison Restaurant & Bar presents itself with old Florida architecture, natural finishes, and soothing earth tones complimented by our spacious outdoor porch overlooking the famous Fort Myers Country Club, and a state-of-the-art audio/video system unobtrusively placed throughout the building.

Our Menu Selections

The Edison's homegrown appeal begins with its traditional All American favorites - including Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Baby Back Ribs and New York Strip. Everything is home cooked and made to order, featuring comfort specialties like Yankee Pot Roast, Homestyle Meatloaf and Old Fashioned Chicken Pot Pie.

Complete with a wide selection of beers, wines and cocktails, The Edison is the perfect place to sit back and relax. The Edison's Chandelier Bar is a sport fan's dream. Watch your favorite game on one of our large plasma screens! Enjoy live entertainment with acoustic rock on Wednesday, Blues on Thursday, and a live DJ on Fridays.
